Scrap & Spa is a women's weekend getaway an hour and a half around the lake from Chicago in Union Pier, MI. It's designed to pamper you while you get caught up on your scrapbook albums. Homemade breakfasts and snacks, comfortable lodging,  shopping, and other delights await you in this quaint harbor town on Lake Michigan. Take a stroll on the peaceful sandy beach and watch the sunset or drive 15 minutes to the awesome Lighthouse Outlet Mall to find a bargain or two. Pedicures, European facials and various types of massage are available by professionals, appointments are made on the website one week or more prior to your arrival

Scrap & Spa is the originator of scrap book getaways for women. We are now in our 10th year of business. We run a relaxed non-scheduled atmosphere for the purpose of relaxation and rejuvenation for the mind and body. 

The weekend fee of $270* covers lodging, all linens , breakfasts, lunches, Friday night light dinner and Saturday dinner  in case you don't want to dine in town, snacks and beverages, work area, use of circle and paper cutters, fancy scissors, stamps, idea books, light table, pens, and other tools. Many 12x12 and 8x11 papers, embellishments, adhesives, refill pages and other supplies are available for purchase on site.

Diane Anderson has been an avid scrapbooker and crafter for many years. The inspiration for Scrap & Spa came when for a special birthday, her husband asked what she would most like to do. When she realized there were few things more satisfying than scrapbooking and receiving a massage, she came up with the idea of pampering fellow scrapbook lovers at a cozy getaway spot. So Scrap & Spa was born in July 1997!

The Scrap & Spa getaway is located in Union Pier, MI just north of New Buffalo about an hour and half from Chicago. Diane lives in the western suburbs of Chicago.

*Upgrade for three night weekend includes extra day lodging and scrapbooking, one breakfast and lunch. Dinner on the third day (Thursday or Monday, depending on date) is on your own at one of the several local eateries.
